A Perfect Roast Turkey!

Hello everyone and welcome to my little corner of the blog-o-sphere.  Kick off your shoes, loosen your belt, and grab your utensils because I want you to feel right at home!

I’m a blessed mom of three, a grandmom of three, a daughter to an awesome and very supportive mom,  and am lucky to have also been blessed with a man who is my best friend, my true love, and my soulmate. Between them, cooking, and now my new blog, life keeps me very busy and very fulfilled.

I’ve been cooking since the tender age of 9 and have never looked back since.  It is my passion, my pride and joy, and my stress reliever… all rolled into one big, happy bundle.  My days are ever filled with recipe ideas tumbling around inside my mind as I dash off to the kitchen to create, taste, adjust, taste, adjust some more and finally share!

So with this in mind and Thanksgiving just a mere two days away, I thought what better way to start my new blog than to share a Perfect Roast Turkey recipe from the Good Eat’s Guru, Alton Brown. This recipe calls for starting with a brine which I have never done before but have always wanted to try.  After lots of research I decided Alton’s recipe is the perfect one for me to get my feet (and turkey) wet with! His perfectly roasted turkey will be sure to be the hit of your Thanksgiving meal.

I would love to hear your thoughts on whether or not you brine your turkey and look forward to starting an exciting food journey with each and every one of you.  WISHING YOU GOOD EATS AND A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
